Más allá de la depresión. Fenomenología del sufrimiento no patológico

Distinguir el trastorno depresivo mayor de otras formas de sufrimiento humano constituye un desafío clínico y ético, especialmente en contextos de enfermedad crítica, amenaza vital, final de vida o crisis espiritual. Este artículo presenta una reflexión crítica de orientación fenomenológica y hermenéutica sobre ese umbral diagnóstico, considerando el sufrimiento existencial y espiritual como formas diferenciadas de sufrimiento no patológico. A partir del análisis de la intencionalidad, la temporalidad, la autorrelación y el horizonte de significado, se sostiene la necesidad de distinguir entre colapso y transformación del significado para orientar el cuidado clínico y espiritual.
