Toma de decisiones y liderazgo en docentes de educación básica

The research analyzed the relationship between decision-making styles and leadership among teachers in an educational unit, identifying challenges, strengths, and opportunities to improve pedagogical practices. Using a quantitative approach and a correlational design, 100 teachers were surveyed. Analytical and directive styles were found to be the most common in decision-making, while transformational leadership predominated in educational management. However, no significant correlation was found between the two variables, attributed to factors such as administrative workload, teaching experience, and limitations in training. The findings highlight the importance of integrating technologies, reducing administrative barriers, and designing comprehensive training programs to strengthen leadership and decision-making in the educational field. This would enhance pedagogical practices and foster a more efficient management environment adapted to current demands.
