The educational setting is key for adolescents to acquire proper training in nutrition. This article presents a didactic proposal based on participatory methodologies and the use of ICT to promote food competence. The experience was carried out in a secondary school in the Community of Madrid with 9th-grade students. Both qualitative and quantitative evaluations were conducted to assess its effectiveness in developing cognitive skills. The results show its educational potential; however, adjustments are needed to align the proposal with the principles of the LOMLOE and ensure its full integration into the curriculum.
