The Impact of Age on the Continuous Training of Workers of Andalusia: An approach

The evolution of life expectancy in Spain increase by more than four points in the next thirty years, this will mean greater social aging. If we add that the dramatic crisis in which we are forced to delay the retirement age, we found that the workforce will be more years working, so that older workers will increase in the future. The need for this increase also requires continuous updating of skills that this population must have to be at the forefront with the social and economic changes that occur, especially for those groups of older unemployed who may be outside competitiveness asking us current job markets. But if we look at training data in regions like Andalusia (Spain), we found that older age, lower education received, so we have a situation that does not conform to the recommendations on training throughout life that ILO and UNESCO enacted.
