The Knight of the Night, configured as one of the contemporary superheroes, has been in the literary and cinematographic debate thanks to the architecture of the violence and citizen insecurity that it derives from him. The present paper shows a reflection on the nature of the "justice of the night" as an agent of security in the margins of the law. Indeed, the representations on justice, the role of threats, and the parallelism between reality and fiction, try to construct an analysis on the different treatments to the character of Batman as a hero and sometimes as a villain.
