Abstract

The article deals with the capital invested in its systemic crisis internationally since 1973, and its effects in countries of late capitalism in Latin America. As 1989 unfolds neoliberal program on the continent, by the Washington Consensus in settling the contrarreformas state, social security, labor, sindicalist and higher education in logic privatizing and mercantile; privatize rentable state enterprises and public services and sets up the state maximum for the minimum capital and workers to ensure the economic exploitation and political domination of the capitalist mode of production.

Author Biography

Maria Beatriz Costa Abramides, Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo

Possui graduação (1971), mestrado (1992) e doutorado (2006) em Serviço Social pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo. Assistente doutora da PUCSP desde 2010. Professora desde 1981 na Graduação e, a partir de 2012, na Pós-Graduação em Serviço Social da PUCSP. Na graduação coordena o Núcleo de Relações de Trabalho e na Pós o NEAMNúcleo de Estudos e Pesquisa de Aprofundamentos Marxistas. Autora de inúmeros artigos e possui livros publicados. Tabalhou como assistente social concursada da PMSP até 2003 na área da Habitação. Diretora da Associação dos Professores da PUCSP/ APROPUCSP desde 2004 e presidente 2008/2010 e 2010/2012. Coordenadora do Convênio de Extensão Universitária da PUCSP/ Prefeitura Municipal de Taboão da Serra. Tem experiência na área de Serviço Social, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: serviço social e tradição marxista, organização sindical, projeto profissional e projetos societários, trabalho e questão social, habitação popular, movimentos sociais. Conselho Editorial das revistas PUCViva, Cultura Crítica, Em Pauta, Temas, Serviço Social em Revista, do Jornal Semanal PUCViva, Parecerista das revistas Libertas, Temporalis, Katálysis. Participou de inúmeros Congressos e Seminários na América Latina. Realizou cursos nas cidades: Bogotá, Santiago, Manágua, Buenos Aires, Tandil, Quito, La Plata. Néuquen.
