Abstract

This article explores how museums construct legitimacy of cultural knowledge on digital platforms, particularly on TikTok. Based on the redefinition of the museum as an inclusive and participatory space, it examines the ways in which knowledge is produced, mediatised and circulated in digital environments from a communicative and educational perspective. Using a mixed exploratory approach, it combines automated data collection techniques (scraping) and content analysis

The study argues that TikTok not only serves as an entertainment channel, but also as an environment of pedagogical mediation, where cultural knowledge is re-signified, performed and democratised. This work seeks to contribute to the field of educational communication and the arts.
