In Chile, the increase in immigration, especially of people from Caribbean countries, has added to the continuous historical socio-cultural problems of indigenous peoples, implying broader changes in the country's cultural diversity. However, there is a lack of research in Chilean music education related to cultural diversity, especially in terms of teachers’ pedagogical practices. In this sense, the research seeks to address this gap, understanding in depth the pedagogical practices of two Chilean music teachers in relation to this topic, highlighting their considerations, approaches and problems.
