Piaget made a very important turn in his ideas on the formation of mental structures when he introduced into his theories meaning and dialectic reasoning. This modified his point of view, which he maintained consistent and firm, transformed his operating logic and opened him up to new logical conceptions of interest to today's academic world. However, these changes have not been well explored. A closer look at these latter changes will serve to better assess the thesis of the Swiss epistemologist.
