The Faculty of Higher Studies Cuautitlán of UNAM offers a degree in Veterinary Medicine. In the ninth semester, students take Wildlife I course. Based on my teaching experience and a diagnostic questionnaire, learning difficulties were identified due to an extensive curriculum and traditional teaching techniques. To improve, a didactic proposal was designed that included study materials, contextualized activities, and the use of new technologies. The results were positive: the traditionalist approach was broken, study habits improved, ICT was incorporated, teamwork and collaborative learning were fostered
