This article is the result of a research project that aimed to understand the digital and IT (Information Technology) skills of entry level university students. This was achieved through the administration of a test designed to identify the student’s level of knowledge, both theoretical and practical, on different electronic devices and virtual tools that are used in education as learning tools to enable their professional development. The article also includes conclusions and improvement proposals deduced from the obtained results.
