Case-Problem: English Learning based on Competencies; Realities and Perspectives from Abroad

The study is aimed to explain the critical thinking issues developed by the English Teaching major students, their perspectives and realities. Through the design and problematization in the WIX website HTML5, was possible to interpret the way students perceive and apply their English knowledge in foreign contexts. The results have proved that, besides being in an intermediate English level (B2), they show plenty of pragmatic and communicative difficulties to develop a critical thinking in their English as a second language learning.
