Factores que influyen en la autopresentación de las mujeres de la Generación Z en TikTok

Este estudio examina cómo las mujeres de la Generación Z construyen su identidad digital en TikTok, enfocándose en la autoexpresión, la comunidad y la influencia algorítmica. A través de grupos de discusión y entrevistas semi-estructuradas con mujeres de 18 a 20 años, los resultados muestran que las participantes priorizan la autenticidad, pero encuentran presiones para ajustarse a tendencias y estéticas idealizadas reforzadas por el algoritmo. Aunque TikTok ofrece un espacio para la creatividad y la pertenencia a la comunidad, el contenido personalizado refuerza identidades específicas, impactando la autopercepción. Este estudio contribuye a entender cómo las expectativas sociales y las dinámicas tecnológicas influyen en la identidad digital.
